Men's Bible Study
Friday Men's Group
When: Fridays at 6:30 am // Where: Faith E Lobby
Come and join us for a great Bible study. We read the Word together, share about the problems we're facing, and pray for one another.
Why should you join a men's Bible study?
Can a men's Bible study give a man a better and clearer understanding of the Bible than another type of Bible study? Does a men's Bible study offer something different or special to a man which he might not otherwise get in a group with women or children? Yes! Read on...
We know that men, women and children all deal with different issues. Men have their own set of fears, joys, emotions, and issues. We also know that a different type of conversation can be had when you are in a smaller group of people who are dealing with your similar issues.
In particular, a big issue for men is battling pride. Pride tells us to be a lone ranger. Pride tells us to handle our problems on our own, even if it's not working and blowing up in our face. Ironically, pride is also one of the main reasons many men are hesitant to join a men's Bible study. Standing strong in your faith requires the community and support of spirit-filled brothers.
We invite you to join our Friday morning men's group. You'll develop skills that will transform you spiritually while increasing your capacity to fulfill your role as a father, husband, and leader.

Men's Bible Study
We're currently studing 'Culture Shock' by Chip Ingram.
We meet at Mazevo Coffee (3911 Central Avenue).
about the study:
Where do you stand on issues like: Truth, Sex, Homosexuality, Abortion, the Environment, and the Church and Politics? More importantly, what does God say? If there ever was a time for Christians to understand and communicate God’s truth about controversial and polarizing issues, it is now. More than ever before, believers must develop convictions based on research, reason, and biblical truth. But it doesn’t stop there. It’s equally important that you’re able (and willing) to communicate these convictions with a love and respect that reflects God’s own heart. This series will help you learn how to respond with love, even in the face of controversy. In the process, you’ll discover the power of bringing light – not heat – to the core issues at the heart of society today.
Men's Bible Study Fellowship
Every week, men 18 years of age and older come together to study the Bible, learn from one another and be challenged and encouraged to live for something larger than themselves. A BSF Men's Class offers straight talk and biblical truth built on the foundation of Jesus Christ.
As a class member, you will spend time in personal study of the Scriptures each week. On class night, you will join other men in a small-group discussion of the lesson and learn from a teaching leader how the truths of Scripture can be applied to daily life. You will leave class with comprehensive lesson notes, which teach further on the passage you studied, and lesson questions for the following week.
Men's classes also offer a school program, in which members may register and bring school-age students. Taught by loving children's leaders, students will grow in their Bible knowledge and love for God as they study the same passages as their registering adult.
