SIMPLY JESUS: A WALK THROUGH COLOSSIAN

Tuesday evenings starting January 20 | 6:30pm Wednesday mornings starting January 21 | 9:00am (childcare available)

This study through the book of Colossians is designed to engage both heart and mind in loving the Lord Jesus more deeply. Together, we will read, meditate on, and pray the words of Colossians—allowing this powerful letter to shape our understanding of Jesus, His sufficiency, and our relationship with Him. We will also practice praying together, using the prayers and themes of Colossians as a guide to express thanksgiving, invite spiritual growth, and intercede with a Christ-centered hope. As we immerse ourselves in God's Word, we aim to grow in intimacy with Him, cultivating a life of prayer rooted in Scripture.

Over the next ten weeks, we hope to…
Foster Intergenerational Connection Through Shared Discovery, Prayer and Reflection
Encourage participants of all ages to engage Scripture together—learning from one another’s perspectives and experiences we will read, pray, and grow in Christ together. Through mutual discussion and encouragement, connections will be deepened, wisdom exchanged, and faith strengthened across generations.

Cultivate a Spiritually Healthy Life
Learn together to live a life of real faith, rooted in Christ—shaped by His forgiveness, filled with His peace, and empowered for godly living. As we work and pray through Colossians, we’ll encourage one another toward emotional honesty, spiritual resilience, and a flourishing life transformed by Jesus.

Encourage Growth Through Inductive Engagement with Scripture
Help participants grow in biblical literacy and personal faith by observing, interpreting, and applying Colossians through an inductive approach. Together, we’ll unpack the richness of Paul’s teaching, understand the supremacy of Christ and apply scriptural truths to our everyday life and relationships.
