STUDYING THE BIBLE & SHARING LIFE
IF:BillingsFriday, February 9, 2018 - 6:00pm & Saturday, February 10, 2018 - 9:00am
Northern Hotel 19 N Broadway Billings, MT 59101
What IF we followed God with perseverance instead of insecurity? At IF:Gathering 2018, we will look at one of Paul’s letters to Timothy as he reminded him of the power and responsibility of sharing the gospel. We want to give God away in the very places He’s put us, so we’re going to gather for the purpose of remembering why following God and making disciples matters. We all get tired, we all wonder if what we’re doing matters, so IF:Gathering 2018 will be the reminder--it will be the celebration. The work we’re doing to share the gospel on the earth is worth it and God DOES move through the little things that nobody sees. Join us!
Women's Bible Studies
Do you long for a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus?
Do you desire to get to know and deepen your relationships with other women?
It’s the perfect time to join a women’s Bible study group.
Thoroughly EquippedTuesdays at 6:30 pm and Wednesdays at 9:00 am
As women, we all want to be good enough. We’d like to always look put-together, in control, adequate, and able to juggle the many spinning plates thrown our way. God tells us that we can be complete, equipped and prepared for any task He has for us. There’s no disqualifying conditions, no gender, weight or age limits. In an old man’s letter to his young friend, we read some God-inspired words: “All scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Tim.3:15-17 Thoroughly Equipped is a 12 week study that will expose the participant to several methods of studying God’s Word while also looking at the Bible as one narrative. The story of all stories with one major character, Jesus Christ the Messiah, and one recurring theme: His purpose to redeem fallen mankind. It is our hope that during the twelve weeks each woman will be equipped and transformed through the Scriptures to fully participate in the redemptive work of Jesus’s story in our own lives.
The Quest by Beth MooreWednesdays at 9:00 am
The crooked punctuation mark at the end of a sentence speaks of curiosity, interest, and perhaps doubt. A question is an invitation to vulnerability, to intimacy. The Bible does not shy away from such an invite. Over and over we see the people of God asking questions of their Creator. We also see the God of the universe asking questions of His creation. The Quest is a challenge to accept the invitation. In this six-week excursion with Jesus, Beth Moore uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best. Learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him. Let the crooked punctuation mark be the map that points you into a closer relationship with the Father.
