Child Dedications
Nov

Child Dedications

Children are a gift from God. Psalm 127:3 proclaims that "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him." As believers, we are called to recognize that children belong first and foremost to God. God in his goodness gives children as gifts to parents. They not only have the awesome responsibility of caring for this gift, but also the wonderful privilege of enjoying the gift. Because children belong to God and are given by grace as gifts to parents, it is only proper and appropriate that children be dedicated back to God.

If you are a parent interested in having your child dedicated to the Lord, we will be doing Child Dedications at our Thanksgiving Eve service on November 27 at 6:00pm.

Sign up here, and one of our pastors will connect with you.

Baptisms

Baptisms

“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call." –Acts 2:38-39

WHAT IS BAPTISM?

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward reality. It symbolizes your inner cleansing from sin, your new birth in Christ Jesus, and it's a mark of Christian discipleship that has been practiced by the Church from its very beginning.

ARE YOU READY TO BE BAPTIZED?

If you understand and agree with these three questions, you're likely ready to be baptized:

  1. Do you acknowledge and profess the Christian faith as taught in the Holy Scriptures?

  2. Do you repent from sin and do you acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord?

  3. Are you determined by the grace of God to live the Christian life?

SIGN UP FOR BAPTISM

Our next Baptism service will be Dec. 1st during our weekend services. If you're ready to be baptized, sign up below and one of our pastors will contact you with additional details.
