Now To He Who Is Able
-
Jude 24-25
To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

This Sunday, Pastor Paul wrapped up our series on the letter of Jude. This letter was written by Jude (the youngest brother of Jesus) to address when false teachers had infiltrated the church and were influencing others to follow a false gospel. Jude pivots here and begins to talk about their common salvation in Jesus Christ.
“Now to Him who is able”, he is able to:
1) keep you from stumbling
2) present you before His glorious presence without fault“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.” — Romans 8:1-2

DISCUSSION GUIDE
Questions:
1) What did the Holy Spirit highlight for you during this teaching? Why?
Journal your thoughts and/or share this with someone else.
2) “Jesus is able to keep you from stumbling.” How does this change the way you approach sin in your life?
Prayer:
God, help me to live in the reality of the abundant life you offer each of us. Help me to rely on your ability to keep me from stumbling instead of my ability to ‘try really hard’. Thank you for dying for me, for shedding blood for me, to cleanse me from when I stumble. Transform my heart and renew my mind.
Amen.
