Light in the Darkness

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

How does the phrase "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" impact your view of Jesus Christ?
In verse 4, it says, "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind." Reflect on how the life and light of Jesus has changed your own life.
Have you allowed the light of Jesus impact your daily decisions, relationships, and priorities? Consider areas of your life you still need to surrender to the power of Christ's light.
What action will you take this week because of what you heard from the Lord during the teaching of His Word?
